2022 Senior Spotlight: Bethany’s favorite memories are, ” Playing hide n seek at the drama department overnight party my sophomore year. And, in grade school my best memories would be from nearly any time that we were filming the Ghost Girl.” The thing that makes her the most Thunderbird Proud is, ” The variety of clubs that students are encouraged to try, whether they were interested in quidditch, biology, or art. There was always something more to do than traditional sports.” Bethany’s legacy advice to underclassmen is, “Try whatever it is that you like, and don’t hesitate. If you take too long, you may not have enough time to get to the thing you will end up loving.” After high school, Bethany plans to attend Columbia College for a degree in Computer Science. 2022 Senior Spotlight: Colin states that his favorite memory in high school was, “Freshman year English class with Mr. Muench.” The NCHS Ag Department and construction classes make him the most Thunderbird proud. 2022 Senior Spotlight: Blake says his favorite memory from high school was, ” All of the bus rides to games and being with friends. My favorite memory from grade school is all of the parties we had..” What makes Blake the most Thunderbird Proud is, ” The family inside of the school and sports programs.” His legacy advice to the underclassmen is, “Do not slack off in school. It’s not that hard if you just get your work done.” After high school Blake plans to attend Culver Stockton College and further his student and athletic career playing football and studying Criminal Justice. 2022 Senior Spotlight: In Karlie’s own words….My favorite memory in my school years was definitely my time on the field with the band, every moment was exhilarating and amazing. In saying that, being apart of band and partaking in every single event is what makes me the most Thunderbird Proud. After high school, I plan to stray a little from music for I am going to college for criminal justice and psychology. Despite this choice in career, music will always be there. My advice for you underclassmen is, “No matter what it is and no matter what people tell you, always do what you love. Forever follow YOUR passions, and be yourself , even if it goes against social norms.” Karlie, we are very proud of you! 2022 Senior Spotlight:Aaron’s favorite memory in high school was learning how to drive a stick shift in a BMW! His favorite memory of grade school is hosting foreign exchange students for 6 years. The thing that makes Aaron the most Thunderbird Proud is running in Cross Country and the friends I made while participating. Aaron’s legacy advice to underclassmen is, ” Be yourself and don’t worry about what everyone else says.” After highs school , Aaron will be serving a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and then onto college to be an engineer!
