TBird Teacher Feature: Meet Ms. Shannon Eberts, art teacher at NCHS. Originally from Belleville, Illinois, she has 2 sons, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and several chickens at home. Her family has a love for swimming. Ms. Eberts also has a love for animals and has spent years volunteering at animal shelters. She knew she wanted to become a teacher when in high school. She loved art class, it was the only place she wanted to be. Her father inspired her to become an artist and her mother to become a teacher. When asked what she looks forward to the most in helping the NCHS students, Ms. Eberts states, “I want to help them create something they are proud of.” If she could describe herself in one word it would be “hopeful”..Thunderbird Proud means to her, “Being your best everyday.” Make sure to say hello to Ms. Eberts and view the artwork around the building next time you come to NCHS.There are some amazing artists at NCHS! #ThunderbirdProud
