NCHS Senior Spotlight: Kearah’s plans after high school include joining the nursing program at State Tech. Her favorite memory in high school was, “being part of the basketball B-Squad my Sophomore year.” Kearah’s advice to underclassmen is, “Get involved in clubs and activities.” We are so proud of you Kearah. NCHS Senior Spotlight: After high school, Erica plans to attend college at MACC in Columbia. One of her favorite memories in high school was, “My Sophomore year our Biology Club took a field trip to the Saint Louis Zoo. We had a bunch of fun with fellow students and our Biology teacher Ms. Houchins, and I enjoyed learning about the animals and getting to see them in person. It was a trip that I won’t forget anytime soon!” Erica’s advice to underclassmen is, ” Don’t be afraid to be open to new opportunities. There were moments when I would be scared to try something new but in the end it became some of my favorite things about high school. So don’t be scared about the unknown and go into a new situation with an open mind, and you will be happy about the unexpected outcome.” We are very proud of you Erica! NCHS Senior Spotlight: Olivia’s future plans include, “Travel for about a year then buy land and start training horses!” Her favorite memories in high school are, “All of the stupid moments with friends, laughing so hard that everyone gives you a weird look.” Olivia’s advice to underclassmen is, “Don’t make your teachers mad and make the most of every opportunity. NCHS Senior Spotlight: Belle’s future plans after high school are, “Attending College of the Ozarks majoring in Agriculture Education with hopes of teaching at an area high school.” Her favorite memories in high school were, “Cheering for our athletes at sporting events and all the good times I have had at FFA activities.”Belle’s advice to underclassmen is, “Don’t be afraid to go outside of your bubble while in high school. High school is about finding yourself so don’t be afraid to do just that and live the four years to the fullest. You don’t want to regret the things you didn’t do in high school.” We are very proud of you Belle! NCHS Senior Spotlight: Makenna’s future plans after high school include, “attending MACC in Mexico majoring in Nursing. Throughout college I will work at the University of Missouri in the MICU.” Her favorite memories in high school were, ” Going on all of the FFA trips and losing my voice in the B squad at football games on Friday nights!” Makenna’s advice to underclassmen is, ” Don’t ever care what others think about you, make the most out of any situation and do any and every activity you can and be involved.” We are very proud of you Makenna!
