2022 Senior Spotlight:Kitson’s favorite memories in high school are walking in gym class with Chloe, taking pickles in the cafeteria, and everyone trading kickstarts at lunch. Her advice to underclassmen is, “Make sure you get photo math app. It’s a lifesaver! Keep everything organized, and don’t be afraid to ask for help.”After high school, Kitson hopes to go to cooking school and open her own restaurant. We are very proud of you Kitson. 2022 Senior Spotlight:Courtney’s favorite memories in high school are, “All of the fun field trips.” Being involved in Mrs. Jeffries’ Leadership class has made Courtney the most Thunderbird Proud. Her advice to underclassmen is, “Do what makes you happy and do not worry about others’ opinions.” After high school, Courtney plans to attend MACC and become a nurse. 2022 Senior Spotlight: Dylan’s favorite memories in high school were playing kickball and basketball during team sports with friends and coaches. What makes Dylan the most Thunderbird Proud is, “Seeing my peers participate and band together to win as a group or outsmart others during pep rallies and assemblies.” Dylan’s advice to underclassmen is, “You will make mistakes. Some things will be out of your control. Missing a deadline isn’t the end of the world. Losing a friend is sometimes inevitable. While everything might not go your way, don’t dwell on the past. Continue to move forward, and know that when you feel like everything is going wrong, things can only get better.” After high school, Dylan plans to study cyber security and do power washing on the side. 2022 Senior Spotlight: Monica has this to say about her favorite memories in school, “My favorite memory in grade school has definitely got to be the time when Ben Mattes broke my pinkie while playing a dodge ball game. My favorite memory in high school would definitely be freshman gym class with Coach Wells.” FFA made Monica the most Thunderbird Proud. “FFA really helped me get out of my comfort zone and try new things. ” Her advice to underclassmen is, “Try your hardest in everything you do and be nice to everyone you know. You don’t know what that person has in store for their life, so leave a good mark on it.” Monica’s plan after high school is to go to school for business, and she plans on owning her own business.” We are very proud of you Monica! 2022 Senior Spotlight: Kalob states this about his favorite memories in high school, “My favorite memory was all the opportunities that the high school would give you to go and make a career when you are done with school.” His advice to underclassmen is, “Graduate early! It will help you get a start before you turn into an adult. It helps a ton.”After high school, Kalob plans to join the National Guard in 2023.
