NCHS Senior Spotlight!
NCHS Senior Spotlight: From Bethany Morris…
My favorite memories from high school would have to be band competitions with my peers and having Friendsgiving with my best friends in the library before school started and then sharing the leftover food with the teachers.I am the most “Thunderbird Proud” because of this current situation actually. All of the teachers and staff are working so hard to try to make the seniors last year feel special even though so much has gone wrong. The seniors are trying to make the most of it and I am so proud of us for staying positive.I want to leave the underclass man with this advice: get involved. You only experience high school once. Staying involved in school is what makes it fun. You make so many friends with people you never thought you would be friends with! Try something new and out of your comfort zone. You may enjoy it. These years go by so fast so make the most of it!
Well said and great advice Bethany! We are so PROUD of you! Congratulations! The teachers, staff, and administration of NCHS wish you the best and much success in your life journey after high school. #ThunderbirdProud

My favorite memory in high school was when I got a win in district wrestling! I am the most Thunderbird Proud because of wrestling. It has taught me so much. My legacy to NCHS underclassmen is, “Don’t take anything for granted. Enjoy high school. Be involved and don’t slack off on grades.”
Great advice Scylor! We are so very PROUD of you! The teachers, administration, and staff of NCHS wish you the very best in your life journey beyond high school! #ThunderbirdProud

NCHS Senior Spotlight: From Clara Moser…
Softball games are my all time favorite memory, but I think my favorite would have to be homecoming week of senior year. It was such a fun time spent with my fellow classmates and very close friends. It was such a good way to kick off such a bittersweet year. My favorite memory from grade school would be the day we took our 8th grade graduation pictures. I remember all of us being super close and laughing and having a lot of fun that day. Again, a good memory from a bittersweet year. The thing that makes me most “Thunderbird Proud” is either being able to represent this amazing school by wearing North Callaway across my chest every time I step onto the softball field, or being a B-Squad leader. I love being a B-squad leader because it shows how much all of the students at NCHS care about each other and want to support one another. My legacy advice for underclassmen would be to have fun but not too much fun, work hard but not too hard, and enjoy every minute you can, because you never know if it will be cut short. You might say you won’t miss high school, but I promise you will.
Congratulations Clara! We are PROUD of you. The teachers, staff, and administration of NCHS wish you happiness and much success in your life journey beyond high school. #ThunderbirdProud

NCHS Senior Spotlight: From William Jeffries…
My favorite memory in high school is winning the Callaway Cup my sophomore year. It’s my favorite memory because this game was my first varsity start and after numerous years we finally got the cup back.In grade school my favorite memory was our 8A art class making bridges outside with logs and being able to jump off this huge ledge without getting in trouble.Being in football has made me the most Thunderbird Proud. There is nothing better than Friday Night Lights and getting to see my classmates and community rally around our team. I have also made some of my very best friends through this sport. My legacy advice to the underclassmen is… live everyday like it might be your last. I have been telling myself this whole semester that I can’t wait to graduate and be at home. Now that we aren’t able to go back to school, I am beginning to miss it. I have the opposite of senioritis.
From the teachers, staff, and administration….Congratulations Will! We wish you much success in your life journey after high school. #ThunderbirdProud

NCHS Senior Spotlight….From Kimberly Spears:
My favorite high school memory is the friendships that I have made along the way and my first national FFA convention and being able to see that it goes way farther then just at our school! The freshman walk through in the first day of high school, football games, and North vs South games! I have so many favorite memories that I can’t list them all. My favorite elementary school memory is when we did our 8th grade prank! FFA makes me the most Thunderbird Proud. FFA is a huge part of my life and I am so lucky to be able to have such a great chapter! My legacy advice to leave with the underclassmen is: Do all you can, push yourself out of your comfort zone. Do not be afraid of what people will think do what makes you happy.
Great Advice! The teachers, administration, and staff are PROUD of you and wish you much success in your life journey after high school! Congratulations! #ThunderbirdProud
