Highest Honors to NCHS FFA Students!

Congratulations to Zachary Abell, Bethany Bloss, Levi Gilman and Chayla Hoffman for receiving their American FFA Degree! The American FFA Degree is awarded to members who have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to FFA and made significant accomplishments in their supervised agricultural experiences (SAEs). The American FFA Degree is awarded at the National FFA Convention each year to less than 1% of FFA members making it one of the organization’s highest honors!#ThunderbirdProud

NCHS Welcomes New Counselor!

New Teacher/Counselor Feature:

NCHS welcomes Ms. Kaitlin Hopke to our Thunderbird family! Ms. Hopke is originally from Vandalia and currently lives in Mexico along with her dog named Finn. The person that influenced her to work in education was her high school science teacher Mr. G! “He set high standards for us both academically and as citizens of our community. He made us want to be better people and students.” An interesting fact about Ms. Hopke is that she graduated both from high school and college with a 4.0 GPA! The one word she says would describe her is CARING. Ms. Hopke will be working with NCHS Freshmen and Juniors this year. She is “looking forward to helping NCHS students graduate and reach their post-secondary goals.” WELCOME! #ThunderbirdProud
